I Hate Traveling

Let me rephrase that, I hate it when I cannot fall asleep in a new place. I want to fall asleep, but I suffer from not sleeping in my own bed with my own linen and my cat purring next to me.

What I do now when I travel, I plan. I take my own pillowcase. That helps because it smells like home instead of industrial bleach. I use white noise to help me to relax and enjoy the evening. I do my bedtime routine before sleeping. I do not drink prior to bed, and I cut down on caffeine.

All of this helps me to sleep better and not suffer when I travel.
